How can I block a number on a land line?

Some people from a fake bank keep on calling me telling me I owe money.

How can I block their number?

Or can I report it somewhere, or something like that?

I called my phone company but they said all I could do is change my number, but I don't want to do that!

*77 will block all calls that do not have a name or number that would be displayed via caller id. You can not just block one number, it's all or none
