Why are there Israeli military in the West Bank when this is supposed to land given to them by Israel?

Just because there are tens of thousands of ILLEGAL settlers living there does this give the Israelis the right to fire tear gas on peace activists from America, Palestine and yes even Israel. The reason for this demonstration ? Israel now have roads for Israeli use only ! Does this not remind many of South African days of apartheid.?

Read the above article and you will have a deeper insight into the reason, which is blatantly obvious regarding their mentality.

If you understand their mentality-then you will understand the Israeli Jews views on how important they feel they are in the World. Land grabbers, murderers, and law breakers are just a few adjectives that come to mind, when contemplating the Israeli Jews.

These people have little regard for international law, and one would think they would have actually learned something from their "holocaust" I guess they learned from the best, as they are repeating the same behavior still today! Yet the minute someone finds fault or criticism with their conduct, they SCREAM "anti-semite." It is just ridiculous, and incredulous on their part.

Why is it when the Germans and Hitler tried to supposedly rid the World of the Jews, suddenly they were demons, but the Jews have no compunction about doing the same to the Palestinians since 1948 all the way up to now in 2009! Amazing.

African apartheid is a "safe" subject, it doesn't involve any Jews, except the ones covering it in the media as to turn the attention away from their illegal occupation and war against the Palestinians.

You think because you don't see the Palestinians running around in "striped pajamas" that they aren't being holocausted by the Jews today? Wrong. They are. The media won't discuss it or cover it, because they are cowards.

Lately it has been really pathetic how the Jews are crying about being fired on daily, in Israel, when these people are simply wiping out whole towns and villages with their overkill and military onslaught in Palestine. Unreal. I guess they need those ground troops to take care of those little boys with rocks. Fair fight, right?

You really don't need to ask the question it is rhetorical.

Yep, a bantustan by any other name remains the same. The Israelis are masters of the big lie and aficionados of double talk. Actually, the Chinese took a page from the Israelis in how they are moving Han Chinese onto Tibetan lands and forcing out the Tibetans--- cultural genocide lite.

to remind the Palestinian that they are under the Israeli occupation where ever they go.

Er, Michael, I have a slight issue with your question. The West Bank was in no way, shape or form "given" to the Palestinians by Israel; it was ceded to them by the late King Hussein of Jordan. The WB has NEVER been part of Israel.

Which makes the Izzie military presence even LESS palatable; as Lilac correctly pointed out, the purpose of the military is to intimidate the native Palestinians at every turn.

Well, Jewish Star, aren't you the humorous one, thinking the Izzie settlements are "legal"...you're ALMOST cute.

Edit: Thanks for the info H2P...why am I not surprised, lol.

The Israeli government has no legal authority whatsoever in the Palestinian Territories. No more than the USG has in New Brunswick. They rule illegally and they rule by force - brute force. Their occupation is a criminal enterprise.

The Arabs of Canaan are the Arabs of Palestine. They were there AT LEAST EQUALLY as long as the Jews/Israelis, but they had a constant presence and a defined land. The Jews were nomadic and had NO land until what was taken from the Palestinians in 1948.The Jews that immigrated were FOREIGN JEWS with little or NO ties to the Middle East. Both Jews and Arabs have the same father, Abraham, whom although Semitic, possibly Hebrew, was not considered Jewish. Abraham, his parents, and his ancestry is from Babylon, which is, in fact, INSIDE the Arabian Peninsula, the origin of the Arab peoples. So he may very well have been Arab.

Palestine is a name which has been widely used since Roman times to refer to the region that includes contemporary Israel and the Palestinian territories, parts of Jordan, and parts of Lebanon and Syria. In its narrow meaning, it refers to the area within the boundaries of the former British Mandate of Palestine (1920-1948) west of the Jordan River.

Palestine can also refer to the Proposed Palestinian State.

The name and the borders of Palestine have varied throughout history, though Palestine has certain natural boundaries that justify its historical individuality. Other terms that have been used to refer to all or part of this area include Arabistan, Canaan, Greater Israel, Greater Syria, the Holy Land, Iudaea Province, Israel, "Israel HaShlema", Kingdom of Israel, Kingdom of Jerusalem, Land of Israel, Levant, Retenu (Ancient Egyptian), Southern Syria, and Syria Palestina.

Early archeological textual reference to the territory of Palestine is found in the Merneptah Stele, dated c. 1200 BCE, containing a recount of Egyptian king Merneptah's victories in the land of Canaan, mentioning place-names such as Gezer, Ashkelon and Yanoam, along with Israel, which is mentioned using a hieroglyphic determinative that indicates a nomad people, rather than a state.

The promise that is the basis of the term "promised land" is contained in Genesis 15:18-21 of the Hebrew Bible:

"On that day the LORD made a covenant with Abrham and said, "To your descendants I give this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the Euphrates - the land of the Kenites, Kenizzites, Kadmonites, Hittites, Perizzites, Rephaites, Amorites, Canaanites, Girgashites and Jebusites."

The verse is said to describe what are known as "Borders of the Land" (Gevulot Ha-aretz). In Jewish tradition these borders define the maximum extent of the land promised to the descendants of Abraham through his son Isaac(2nd born-the Jewish lineage and Ishmael the 1st born and the Arab lineage) and grandson Jacob.Even according to Jewish customs, the oldest son, which is Ishmael, is entitled to the father's inheritance, but because Sarah despised Ishmael, she wanted Isaac to get the inheritance and had Abraham exhile Ishmael. Neither is Ishmael illegitimate but the legal son of his SECOND wife Hagar-Genesis 16: "And Sarah Abraham's wife took Hagar her maid the Egyptian, after Abraham had dwelt ten years in the land of Canaan, and gave her to her husband Abraham to be his WIFE(my emphasis).

The promise is made to Abraham and the descendants of his son Isaac, and Isaac's son Jacob, Abraham's grandson as they are all given promise that their descendants will be given a territory from the river of Egypt to the Euphrates river. No where does it say the Israelis/Jews OWNED the land, nor were they to take it from, and, kill the Palestinians. The Israelis/Jews were given a land ONLY to reside in as many Jews already had among the Palestinians.God clearly states whom the land belongs to-"the land of the Kenites, Kenizzites, Kadmonites, Hittites, Perizzites, Rephaites, Amorites, Canaanites, Girgashites and Jebusites." Of all these people, only the Palestinians whom are considered Canaanites, are still around. Except for Iran and Israel, Arabs own all of what was Canaan.

The Arabs(Ishmael) were in Palestine FIRST and upto the present, are the MAJORITY population:

*According to Alexander Scholch, GERMAN JEW AND PROFESSIONAL HISTORIAN, the population of Palestine in 1850 had about 350,000 inhabitants, 30% of whom lived in 13 towns; roughly 85% were Muslims(Arabs), 11% were Christians and 4% Jews.Scholch, 1985, p. 503.

Palestinian Demographics Link up to 1948

To date, Israel refuses to define her southern borders, made numerous unilateral attempts to annex Arab East Jerusalem(part of the West Bank(Judah) and that the Jews feel is theirs through erroneous interpetation of residency as ownership in the Bible) and vetoed by the UN as well as renounced by other countries. Israel now has full or partial occupation of the West Bank and Gaza strips, illegally building Jewish ONLY setttlements and buffer Zones from Palestinians lands acquired through brutal attacks and murders without any enumeration.

It is Israel whom is illegally occupying the West Bank and Gaza strips, illegally building Jewish ONLY settlements and buffer zones from land stolen from murdered INNOCENT civilian Palestinians using machine guns and tanks. It is not the Palestinians cutting off power, water, food, medicines, and jobs-just HOW would YOU protect yourself from annhilation by occupiers if your government couldn't?

GEE-the Israelis can not figure why the Palestinians are so angry, firing home made missles into southern Israel in RETALIATION for the theft of Palestinian land and out right brutality and murder-they think the Palestinians should just leave or be killed or hand over their property to Israel.

The following link gives some UNBIASED statistics on deaths on BOTH sides-see whom has the right to protect themselves from whom-it sure isn't the Israelis:

In 25-20 years, Israel will be a Jewish country with a MAJORITY Arab population.

Any thumbs down, please, provide evidence, ANYTHING I said was inaccurate.

Wow, you have serious issues, you hatred against Israel and JEWS is more then noticeable, you try to convince everyone that Israel is horrible because thats what YOU think you need to work out your issues. Do you enjoy playing biased media games? You know, or i think you would, as well as i do, that the media will distort, change, and even lie about what is really going on, you post all these things about anti-Israel, yet you dont post about nearly 10,000 bombs hitting Israel, or why dont you post things about The UN fails to mention the 4000 rockets fired into Israel during the 6 moth cease fire, the UN fails to mention the hostile takeover of the President of the Palestinian People, Mahmoud Abbas on June 16th, 2007, by a hostile, military takeover, now leading in a totalitarian government. The Un fails to mention the 400 moderate Muslims killed by Hamas when they took over. The UN fails to mention that Israel has the right to defend themselves for the first time in 8 years after 10,000 rockets.

I answered this already, stop playing your idiotic anti-Israel games!

Settlements are perfectly legal. When will you be asking why Arabs in Gaza are still firing rockets at Israeli towns? Do you think they see them as towns? They see them as "settlements" too.
