the problem is with arab aggression against Israel. It helped to create the military policy that they have. Arab militancy disrupts the peace process and political extremism is a part of that. If you believe in peace, then act in a kind manner towards Israelis and accept them without being racist and hateful towards them.
Actually, after the war of independence, both Egypt and Jordan had more land than they started with.
If you read between the lines you would of seen that the land that was left which was designated by the UN for the Palestinians was taken by both of them.

Arab army received orders not to fire and to retrieve before the battle even began(I think many of us know why and who made this orders)! Some patriotic people refused this orders and individually fought against Israeli army! Those who fought were a minority against Israeli-British war machine. Many of them died, but they still managed to kill many of Israelis and destroyed many tanks.
