Look at what happened when the UN declared them a Country, all of the surrounding states immediately went to war and tried to push them into the sea. Also, Israel is the only Country that has been punished for winning wars.
The West bank was,and still is,part of Palestine .It was taken in force by Israel so no wonder they are a bit pissed of by it.Israel is very dependant on the USA,but it must be done by negotiation.
No, he should get both sides to sit down and negotiate a peaceful settlement. Extremists on both sides need to calm down and try to see the situation from the other's point of view.
