Why does Israel allow illegal settlements to continue to be built on Palestinian land?

The official call on Israel is that they do not allow illegal settlements to be built but according to a recent article on the issues it was quoted, “The Israeli defense ministry has concealed information about the extent of illegal settlement-building in the West Bank, a leading newspaper reports…” so their claims seem quite hypocritical especially given their claims to the contrary.

Israel reminds me of someone who was constantly raped as a child, so they grew up to be a paedophile. What Israel needs to realise, is that there is no excuse for being a paedophile, all paedophiles should be executed, no matter how bad their childhood was. If you were raped as a child then you should know how it feels, and you should do everything in your power to make sure it never happens to anyone else. It doesn't mean you have the right to grow up to be just as messed up as the guy who molested you.

Your have a faulty premise.

First no one has agreed what Palestinian land. Second, until that is done you can not define "illegal." Kind of funny how the Pallies do not want to declare a nation. Guess they do not want to be responsible for what they do.

There is only 1 logical reason why they still allow it and that is their ultimate goal is to force the Palestinians out.

Why else would there be 600 Israeli military checkpoints in the West Bank which prevents the free movement of the Palestinian people in their own territory daily?

Israel considers any land in Gaza theirs.

The influence of hardline groups in the Israeli government. If the hardliners want it, they will find a way to get it.
