Can I take out cash without a bank card or cheque book?

Meaning can I go in there with all the ID under the sun and my account number passport proof of adress etc, as I owe my land lord a whole load of cash and have lost both and am going away for 10 days and if I dont get the money when I come back ill have no home???

As long as you have some photographic id, such as a driving licence/passport, utility bills showing your address, you should be able to withdraw funds from your bank. They will probably ask security questions, such as what direct debits are set up on the account, and how much the last sum of money was credited to your account and from whom x

It just seems so obvious that the answer will be found by asking your bank !!!

Sure. Go to a teller and ask to make a withdrawal.

Proof of your ID (ie passport) and address should be enough. take along your bank statements too if you ve them - then you should have no problems

Yes you can, make sure you take all your ID like passport and driving licence and all should be fine.

i'm not sure but if u explain to the landlord about the situation he might let u pay at a later date good luck xxx

yes, all you should need is your account number, a photo id, and a withdrawal slip from your bank.

Most banks will allow you to take cash out as long as you go inside and speak to a teller. You just need proof of identification, and they will probably ask some verification questions.

Each bank has it's own rules and it never hurts to call be fore going in, but you should be able to go in with photo id and withdraw the money using one of the bank's counter withdrawl slips.

sure go to the cash counter and ask for a withdrawal slip and show them all the identity cards etc you have and you should be able to withdraw as much as you like........

The Abbey accept the ID's you mentioned, so I'm sure other banks must too.

If you have your passport with your name and photo I would think that it would be as good as a license. After that you should be able to write a check to "cash" and then they will withdrawal the money from your account and give it to you.

It depends on the bank ...... but most banks will give you cash if you can prove your identity.... photo id, bill, if you can answer the security questions they ask....... and the bank will have on file a sample of your signature, and might ask you for it (depends on the amount of money you wish to with draw)... weather they give it to you the same day or ask you to collect it next day. Hope that helps...
